Traffic lights

I don't know why but there was one day I was walking to school when I stared at the traffic lights and wondered why are traffic lights invented. First of all to ensure that there is road safety and second its to ensure there's order?
My friend once told me how this world has too much people and if she just disappears like this it wouldn't matter because the world still goes on. 
I thought that was somehow true. But look, why do we need order? 
In my opinion, its because everybody is unique in their own ways, we have our own way of doing things thus we need traffic lights to ensure everybody can follow the same set of rules so to prevent cars going bam-bam-bam on the roads.
You see, everybody makes a mark on this world. Each of us have our own different set of thinking. You can have a friend that has a similar personality as you, but its never the same. There will be little things that makes you unique as a person. 
I believe people sometimes think they don't matter cause they got used to how society works, you know, work and work and excel in it=good future. People spent too much time working they lost their interest in life, the fun part of life. 
So you know, never say you don't matter. Everybody matters.
